Students will follow predictable morning routine: unpack, use restroom, get 2 pencils, complete language arts warm-up found on the smartboard, to be completed in warm up spiral.

Morning Meeting:
Students will come to the carpet with their notebooks, teacher will lead calendar activities and review daily warm-up with students.

8:20   Reader's Workshop

RW Mini Lesson:
Students will bring book boxes to the carpet, teacher will teach interactive mini lesson.

Independent Reading/ Conferencing:
Students will take book box and go to book book to read 'just right' books independently, teacher will conference with students at this time.

9:15 Literacy Block/ Guided Reading

Literacy Stations:
Students will follow predictable station routines, teacher will call small groups for guided reading/ one-on-one tutoring/ assessments/ etc at this time.

 Students will bring writing folder to the carpet, teacher will teach interactive mini lesson.

Students will come to the carpet with notebook for math warm-up (smartboard) and math fluency practice.
